About Amanda Zubricki, Myofunctional Therapist

My name is Amanda Zubricki, and I am a Myofunctional Therapist based in North Carolina. Originally from New Jersey, I have worked in private practices across Virginia, Texas, and North Carolina before settling in Raleigh. With a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Towson University and an associate degree in Dental Hygiene from Northern Virginia Community College, I bring a deep understanding of patient behaviors and the psychological aspects of therapy into my care.

I am passionate about professional development and have trained extensively in Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy (OMT). I am also trained in Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT), an approach that complements myofunctional therapy by addressing fascial restrictions and supporting optimal function and healing. In addition, I hold my Certified Orofacial Myologist (COM®) designation, reflecting my commitment to excellence and evidence-based care in this field.

With seven years of experience as a former massage therapist and a recently reinstated massage license, I take a functional and preventative approach to patient care. I place strong emphasis on education and empowerment, helping patients take an active role in improving their overall health.

I have a special interest in supporting both children and adults with TMJ concerns, airway dysfunction, and sleep-related disorders. I am deeply committed to early intervention to help prevent more complex health issues later in life.

Beyond clinical work, I am actively involved in my professional community. I run the Raleigh Chapter Airway Circle Study Club and serve as a Trustee for the North Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association (NCDHA). I am dedicated to continuous learning, collaboration, and advancing awareness of airway-focused care.

I am the owner and founder of The Myo Project, where my mission is to help patients improve breathing, sleep, and overall health through myofunctional therapy.
